The successful candidate will pro-actively manage the relationship with Rates & Credit business. This will include understanding current problems, anticipating future needs, gather detail requirements and work on delivering the solution.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business processes and requirement and advise appropriate IT solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Drive changes among departments, liaise and integrate expectation from different business departments.
  • Responsible for design, develop, deliver and support for Rates & Credit business requests and provide solution including regulatory related requirement.
  • Liaise and collaborate with different technology teams and business teams locally, regionally and globally, to deliver critical business initiatives.
  • Manage and participate in the entire development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, quality assurance, testing and deployment
  • Deliver relevant documentation according to Software Development Life Cycle such as Term of Reference and Business Requirement Document, etc. and getting them signed off from all stakeholders.
  • Cultivate effective work relationships with business users and other IT teams to ensure user satisfaction as well as technical compliant to the established standard in HSBC.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the finance and banking industry environment. Minimum 5 years of project management and business analysis experience.
  • Good product knowledge on Fixed Income, e.g. cash bond, interest rates derivatives.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Fixed Income front to back flow is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge in Fixed Income system platforms.
  • Sound knowledge in Fixed Income Rates business and products.
  • Solid experience on full software development lifecycles, from initiation to implementation.
  • Good knowledge of writing process flows.
  • Experience managing both onshore and offshore resources.
